AYSO's Mission & Vision
To Be The Nationally Recognized Youth Soccer Program Of Choice
AYSO's Vision is to provide world class youth soccer programs that enrich children’s lives.
AYSO's Mission is to develop and deliver quality youth soccer programs which promote a fun, family environment based on AYSO's Six Philosophies:
Everyone Plays
At least half of every game.
Balanced Teams
Skilled/Talented players are evenly distributred among all teams in a league to promote balanced competition.
Open Registration
AYSO has sign-ups, not try-outs. As long as there is space on a team, every child who signs up will play.
Positive Coaching
AYSO believes in building soccer skills and self-worth through encouragement and teaching.
Good
Sportsmanship
AYSO has active programs to promote positive behavior on the field and on the sidelines.
Player Development
We believe that all players should be able to develop their soccer skills and knowledge to the best of their abilities, both individually and as members of a team, in order to maximize their enjoyment of the game.
AYSO has a unique national structure. Its almost 1,000 Regions (community leagues) have two more local levels of the organization that help ensure Regions can deliver programs of a consistent high quality nationwide. The Areas and Sections work together on training, competitions and events to help Regions deliver an excellent soccer experience. They oversee compliance with AYSO fundamentals and focus on helping Regions grow so they can offer the AYSO experience to every child possible.

-
Areas
AYSO has almost 100 Areas that are made up of a group of Regions in close geographic proximity. |
Sections
AYSO’s Sections provide support, oversight and leadership. |
Section Web Sites
Each AYSO Section reflects its unique part of the country while upholding the same high AYSO standards nationwide. |
Training RoadShow To Debut
