AYSO is a nationwide non-profit organization that develops and delivers quality youth soccer programs in a fun, family environment based on AYSO's Five Philosophies:

At least half of every game |

AYSO has sign-ups, not try-outs. As long as there is space on a team, every child who signs up will play. |
| Balanced Teams -- |
Skilled/talented players are evenly distributed among all teams in a league to promote balanced competition. |
| Positive Coaching -- |
AYSO believes in building soccer skills and self-worth through encouragement and teaching. |
| Good Sportsmanship -- |
AYSO has active programs to promote positive behavior on the field and on the sidelines. |
Area 1-R is made up of eight(8) Regions of the American Youth Soccer Organization throughout Riverside County; Riverside: Region 47, Corona / Norco: Region 37, Moreno Valley: Region 187, Menifee: Region 820, Jurupa: Region 462, ,Perris: Region 544, Murrieta/Temecula: Region 1463, and French Valley/Temecula 1508. Nearly 16,000 players ages 4 1/2 through 18 participate in our programs, which are staffed and run entirely by volunteer coaches, referees and administrators
